Overview
The game is locked to an anamorphic 16:9 image, so ultrawide monitors get black side bars until a community fix is applied. PCGamingWiki lists ultrawide and multi-monitor as hackable via the ac7-ultrawide mod (hex-edits the exe, uses 3Dmigoto shader patches, removes the letterboxing and adjusts FOV). The mod's own README warns the modified exe may get you banned from online play, so it is for offline use; I did not test cutscenes or 32:9 behavior.

Confirmed PCGamingWiki rates ultrawide 'hackable'; confirmed the GitHub repo exists (redirects to massimilianodelliubaldini/ac7-ultrawide, last pushed 2024-07-09, no releases) and read its README including the anti-cheat warning. No Flawless Widescreen module. Could not confirm it works on the newest build, or cutscene/HUD/32:9 details (lower confidence).
