Overview
Avowed's 21:9 gameplay is genuinely excellent — proper horizontal FOV expansion with no stretching — but 32:9 users hit real friction: community reports describe fisheye-like FOV distortion unless manually reduced below 70, and the game drops to 16:9 pillarboxed black bars during every conversation and cutscene, frequent in this dialogue-heavy RPG. No built-in way to reposition HUD elements for 32:9 framing, and no verified working mod exists yet to keep conversations in full ultrawide.

Fixes
No known fix yet.
No verified working mod exists yet to keep dialogue/cutscenes in full ultrawide, or to correct the FOV distortion. In the meantime, manually lowering the FOV slider below 70 reduces the fisheye effect somewhat.

Working with fix
Playable but FOV feels fisheyed unless manually lowered under 70; dialogue scenes still pillarbox to 16:9.
