Overview

Cuphead does not support ultrawide on its own. A hex edit of Assembly-CSharp.dll (replacing the 16:9 constant with a 21:9 or 32:9 value) fills an ultrawide screen, but artwork still renders at 16:9, so black bars remain on boss stages and the tutorial. HUD, cutscene and menu behavior with the edit could not be confirmed, and the edit must be reapplied after game updates.

Patch history & verification

Read PCGamingWiki Video section and WSGF thread: hex edit confirmed for 21:9 and 32:9, black bars on boss stages/tutorial noted. Could not confirm cutscene/HUD behavior or that the edit works on the newest build; no Flawless Widescreen module exists.
