Overview
Dark Souls III has zero native ultrawide support — the resolution list doesn't even offer 3440x1440 or 5120x1440, so 32:9 players depend entirely on Kaldaien's Souls Unsqueezed tool for aspect-ratio correction plus a separate UI fix mod. Even fully modded, pre-rendered cutscenes stay locked to 16:9 with pillarboxing. Community opinion on multiplayer safety is genuinely split, so treat injection-based fixes as offline-only if you invade or co-op.
