Overview

Divinity: Original Sin (2014) has genuinely native, WSGF-verified widescreen support (Gold widescreen award, Silver multi-monitor/ultrawide award) with no black bars in menus or cutscenes, thanks to its isometric camera which scales cleanly. WSGF's own ultrawide award is only Silver rather than Gold, so 32:9 support is rated partial here rather than fully native to stay conservative; no third-party fix is needed or available for 21:9. No Flawless Widescreen module or GitHub fix exists for this title (none needed).

Fixes

No known fix yet.

No fix or mod exists because none is needed for 21:9; the only reason 32:9 is not marked native is the lack of a second source beyond the WSGF Silver (not Gold) ultrawide award.

Patch history & verification

current buildSep 21, 2026
Cross-checked PCGamingWiki's ultrawidescreen=true rating against the linked WSGF Widescreen Resolution Database entry (Gold widescreen, Silver ultrawidescreen award). Because WSGF's own ultrawide award is Silver (not Gold), 32:9 is rated partial/conservative rather than native pending a dedicated 32:9 screenshot source.
