Overview
On a 32:9 panel, DOOM (2016) accepts the resolution but renders it with an incorrect aspect ratio out of the box — weapon FOV and some UI elements are wrong until you apply the Flawless Widescreen DOOM module (confirmed as the 2016 idTech 6 game via the module's Vulkan/6.1.1.627 patch reference, not DOOM Eternal, which has its own separate FWS module). Even with the fix applied, some UI elements remain stretched. 21:9 users have it easier since the base game handles that ratio correctly without intervention.
