Overview

The game pillarboxes anything wider than 16:9. Community workarounds exist: Lyall's Fort Solis patch dropped into the game folder per PCGamingWiki, or the Universal UE5 Unlocker, which stretches FMV cutscenes. There is no official ultrawide patch, the fixes are unofficial hacks on a game with online modes, and I could not confirm version compatibility or 32:9 quality, so it is rated partial.

Patch history & verification

Current Steam build (unconfirmed)Sep 20, 2026
Read PCGamingWiki (ultrawide hackable, pillarboxed by default) and confirmed a Fort Solis folder exists in Lyall's repo and Steam threads discuss the workaround. Lower confidence: fix version, 32:9 results, HUD placement, and whether recent game updates broke it. Could not open Nexus pages.
