Overview

Halo Infinite was built for ultrawide: the developers say the 3D scene is Hor+, the HUD anchors to screen edges, and 32:9 super ultrawide is officially supported, which PCGamingWiki repeats for both 21:9 and 32:9. The FOV slider runs 65-120 (default 78). Cutscenes were reportedly designed to fit wider ratios, but we did not test cutscenes at 32:9 ourselves. Multiplayer uses anti-cheat, so avoid modding.

Patch history & verification

Steam current buildSep 19, 2026
Checked PCGamingWiki (Hor+, 21:9 and 32:9 supported, FOV 65-120) and the official Halo Waypoint Inside Infinite post (32:9 and beyond supported, HUD anchored to edges, wider ratios see more horizontally). Cutscene/black-bar values rely on a developer-statement search snippet plus absence of complaints found, not hands-on testing (lower confidence). No Flawless Widescreen module exists. Could not confirm a current patch number.
