Overview
Gameplay is excellent on a 32:9 screen — PCGamingWiki's own FOV screenshots show it rendering correctly at both 21:9 and 32:9 with no stretching, and an in-game 'HUD To The Edges' toggle lets you keep the HUD centered. Real-time cutscenes are pillarboxed to 16:9 by default regardless of resolution. The community fix HZD-SUWSF (actively maintained through DLSS compatibility) removes that cutscene pillarboxing.

Working with fix
Gameplay is native 32:9, but you need HZD-SUWSF or cutscenes constantly snap back to a 16:9 box.

Working
Gameplay looks great without any mods, just live with pillarboxed cutscenes or grab the SUWSF fix.
