Overview
Outlast natively supports ultrawide with WSGF Gold widescreen/4K awards and Silver multimonitor and ultrawidescreen awards, meaning both 21:9 and 32:9 render Hor+ with correct FOV, full ultrawide menus and cutscenes, and no black bars out of the box. No Flawless Widescreen module or third-party fix is needed; the only optional tweak is manually editing OLGame.ini to adjust FOV values (default 100, sprint 120) to taste. This is confirmed by PCGamingWiki's Video infobox and cross-checked against the WSGF database awards page.

Patch history & verification
Initial verificationSep 22, 2026
Confirmed via PCGamingWiki Video section (ultrawidescreen=true, WSGF Silver ultrawidescreen award, Gold widescreen/4K awards) and cross-checked against the WSGF Outlast database entry. Confirmed via fws_repo.xml that no Flawless Widescreen module exists for Outlast, consistent with native support requiring no fix.
