Overview
Path of Exile 2 supports 21:9 natively but deliberately caps the visible play area at roughly a 21:9-equivalent field of view on 32:9 monitors, filling the rest of the screen with permanent black bars — Grinding Gear Games has stated this is intentional for gameplay balance. Rose's community UltrawideIndex patch removes these bars for 5120x1440 users, but since PoE 2 is an online always-connected ARPG, using any file-modifying fix carries some risk and isn't officially endorsed.
