Overview
Squad has never had proper native ultrawide support, and it got worse: the community's long-standing Engine.ini FOV workaround was killed outright when the game moved to Unreal Engine 5, with the guide's own author confirming it's broken as of October 2025. On a 32:9 panel this currently means your weapon is pushed mostly off-screen and the view is effectively zoomed in with no working fix available. 21:9 is somewhat more tolerable at lower resolutions but still not correct.

Not working
Gun barrel fills most of the view, constant zoomed/binocular-like feeling; old engine.ini trick no longer applies.

Not working
Playable but FOV noticeably too tight compared to 16:9, no reliable fix currently.
