Overview
Star Citizen has had basic 21:9 support since patch 2.6.2 back in 2016, rendering hor+ during flight/gameplay, but ultrawide remains a rough edge of this still-in-alpha game. Spectrum forum threads describe HUD elements misplacing or scaling incorrectly on ultrawide, and some 5120x1440 monitors aren't even offered as a selectable native resolution. No dedicated third-party fix or mod exists — 32:9 users should expect occasional regressions after updates.

Fixes
No known fix yet.
No dedicated fix or mod exists — Star Citizen is in perpetual alpha, and HUD scaling/positioning on ultrawide is an ongoing, unresolved engine issue rather than something fixable client-side.
Community reports
3440×1440
Working
Flight and FPS gameplay render hor+ correctly, but menus and mission UI stay 16:9-locked in the center.

Not working
Monitor's native 32:9 resolution wasn't listed in the graphics options; had to force it via custom resolution and still got HUD element misplacement.
