Overview
21:9 and 32:9 are officially supported with Hor+ gameplay. An 'Ultrawide Pillarboxes' display option exists for cutscenes: it can be turned off for full-width cutscenes, but the game warns this may cause clipping and other visual bugs. FOV has a -10 to +10 slider; Flawless Widescreen offers more FOV plus a culling fix.

The Last of Us Part I supports 32:9 correctly out of the box across every mode.
Patch history & verification
v1.1.5Sep 19, 2026
Steam patch notes (2025-07-03) list an ultrawide fix (bow rangefinder reticle position), showing ultrawide is still being maintained. PCGamingWiki: 21:9 and 32:9 supported, pillarbox toggle, FOV slider. Could not confirm the pillarbox default state or menu/HUD placement, so those fields (cutscene_support, menu_support, hud_behavior) are conservative guesses.
FWS moduleSep 19, 2026
Flawless Widescreen repo has a 'The Last of Us' module (SubVersion Release 4, Part I; date not confirmed in repo XML). Alternative only.
