Overview

Two Point Hospital natively supports 21:9 (3440x1440 and similar) with a properly widened hor+ view, correct FOV, and no UI stretching; menus render full-width but cutscenes/cinematic sequences are pillarboxed to 16:9. On 32:9 the game still runs and fills the screen, but the developer stated on record that anything wider than 25:9 'starts to look a bit less lovely,' meaning HUD elements and camera framing get stretched thin - treat 32:9 as playable but imperfect, with no mod or config fix available to improve it further.

Fixes

No known fix yet.

The engine natively renders wider views (WSGF gold widescreen award) but the developer publicly said the isometric camera looks cramped past 25:9, so 32:9 works but is not a great experience and no fix improves that.

Patch history & verification

Current Steam/EGS build (Unity 2021.3.35f1)Sep 21, 2026
Confirmed via PCGamingWiki infobox (widescreen resolution=true, ultrawidescreen=true, WSGF gold widescreen award) and cross-checked with the developer's own Twitter statement that 25:9 is the practical upper limit; could not find a dedicated 32:9 fix or mod, so 32:9 is marked partial rather than native/excellent.
