Overview
Zenless Zone Zero supports 21:9 natively, but on anything wider than 3440x1440 (such as 32:9) it pillarboxes itself back to a 21:9 image, per PCGamingWiki. It's an always-online game with HoYoKProtect anti-cheat, so injecting a fix isn't recommended.

Fixes
No known fix yet.
The game caps itself at 21:9 and pillarboxes wider screens; no safe fix is known, and HoYoKProtect anti-cheat makes injection risky.
Patch history & verification
Current Steam build (number not confirmed)Oct 17, 2026
Steam appid 4162040 (the 2026 Steam release of the 2024 game) confirmed. The 21:9 cap at 32:9 comes from PCGamingWiki (KingKrouch, 2024, tested with Gamescope). Cutscene, menu and HUD behavior is not documented, so cutscenes are conservatively marked pillarboxed. HUD and menu values are lower confidence. No Flawless Widescreen module.
