Overview

Could not confirm real ultrawide support for Aniimo: PCGamingWiki's current wikitext lists widescreen resolution as supported but ultrawidescreen and multimonitor as unknown, there is no Flawless Widescreen module for it, and Steam's own patch notes (through build v1.0.3551601.0, Sep 19 2026) contain no ultrawide/aspect-ratio fixes. A Steam Community thread about black bars turned out to be about a resolution-detection crash bug (Lua 'getResolutionNumber' error) fixed by matching Windows/NVIDIA display resolution before launch, not about confirmed in-game 21:9 HUD/FOV/cutscene behavior. Because this is a very recent release with essentially no community ultrawide data yet, support remains unconfirmed/likely unsupported; conservative rating kept.

Fixes

No known fix yet.

Very new release (Sep 15, 2026); PCGamingWiki still lists ultrawidescreen/multimonitor as unknown as of build v1.0.3551601.0 (Sep 19, 2026), and no community fix, mod, or FWS module could be found. A Steam thread with 'black bars' in the title turned out to be a resolution-mismatch crash fix, not confirmed ultrawide rendering support.

Patch history & verification

v1.0.3551601.0 (Sep 19, 2026, per official Steam patch notes)Sep 20, 2026
Second-pass re-check: Re-verified via Steam's official patch-notes feed (found real current build v1.0.3551601.0, Sep 19 2026) and a fresh PCGamingWiki wikitext pull, replacing the vague 'launch build' label with a real patch string. No new evidence changed the 21:9/32:9/HUD/FOV fields; a Steam thread mentioning black bars was confirmed to be an unrelated crash/resolution-detection bug, not an ultrawide rendering report, so status stays conservative.
Launch buildSep 22, 2026
Initial entry created. Could not confirm 21:9/32:9 behavior from any source beyond PCGamingWiki's blank/unknown ultrawidescreen field; no WSGF, Steam discussion consensus, or fix repo evidence found. Marked unsupported/poor conservatively pending more community data.
