Overview
Far Cry 4 renders gameplay in native Hor+ at 21:9 and 32:9, but the in-game FOV slider is hidden above 16:9. WSGF lists cutscenes and FMVs as fixed aspect ratio (pillarboxed). RoseTheFlower's tool brings back the FOV slider, but you have to run it every time you play.

Patch history & verification
Current Steam build as of 2026-09-23 (build number not confirmed)Sep 23, 2026
WSGF confirms native Hor+ and fixed-aspect cutscenes. PCGamingWiki confirms the hidden FOV slider. The Rose fix release notes were read. The FWS repo has no Far Cry 4 module. Menu aspect ratio and HUD placement are lower confidence.
