Overview

For Honor natively supports ultrawide gameplay: PCGamingWiki confirms true Hor+ scaling with a centered HUD and a usable 60-90 degree FOV slider, and WSGF gives it gold for basic widescreen/multi-monitor resolution support. However, WSGF only rates the dedicated 'ultrawidescreen' category as 'incomplete', and pre-rendered FMV cutscenes remain pillarboxed at 21:9/32:9 with no first-party fix; a handful of older Steam threads also report menus getting stuck at 16:9 on some setups, so results can vary slightly by system.

Fixes

No known fix yet.

Core gameplay natively renders Hor+ at ultrawide with a centered HUD and an adjustable 60-90 degree FOV slider, but pre-rendered (FMV) cutscenes stay pillarboxed and WSGF rates the ultrawidescreen category only 'incomplete'; Steam reports are mixed, with some players getting near-flawless native 21:9 and others stuck at 16:9, and no officially maintained fix addresses the pillarboxed cutscenes.

Patch history & verification

2.61.0Sep 22, 2026
Confirmed current patch label (2.61.0, July 24, 2025) via Ubisoft's own patch notes referenced on PCGamingWiki's DLSS entry; cross-checked native ultrawide gameplay/HUD claims against PCGamingWiki and mixed community reports of cutscene pillarboxing and occasional 16:9-locked menus.
