Overview
Northgard (now sold as Northgard: Definitive Edition on Steam) natively supports 21:9 ultrawide with proper hor+ scaling and no known HUD or cutscene issues, matching PCGamingWiki's confirmed widescreen/multimonitor/ultrawidescreen support. At 32:9 the resolution renders but UI elements can clip out of view; a Shiro Games developer confirmed on Steam that fully fixing this for 32:9 is more work than expected and is not currently planned, so treat 32:9 as playable-with-caveats rather than fully supported.

Fixes
No known fix yet.
Shiro Games confirmed on the Steam feature-request board that a moveable/scalable UI fix for 32:9 is not planned because it is harder to implement than expected; UI panels can clip out of view at 32:9.
Patch history & verification
v4.3.26.43334Sep 22, 2026
Confirmed native 21:9 support via PCGamingWiki wikitext and confirmed the 32:9 UI-clipping limitation directly from a Shiro Games developer reply on the Steam feature-request thread. Cutscene and menu ultrawide behavior at 32:9 specifically were not independently re-tested; 21:9 behavior is based on PCGamingWiki's confirmed flags.
