Overview
By default Pacific Drive renders vert- on ultrawide (image zoomed in, hand/viewmodel objects stretched, and issues in certain menus like the fabricator and map), confirmed by both PCGamingWiki and multiple Steam Community threads. A widely corroborated config edit (adding AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV to the game's Engine.ini, then setting the file read-only so it isn't overwritten) fixes the horizontal FOV crop for both 21:9 and 32:9, but does not fix the stretched viewmodel or the menu issues, so overall support remains partial even after applying the fix.

Already have one of these? It works too
In-game FOV sliders (Gameplay settings)Separate on-foot/in-vehicle FOV sliders (70-120 degrees) exist natively, but PCGamingWiki notes the degrees shown are not representative of actual FOV on ultrawide, so the slider alone does not fully correct the default vert- crop.

Patch history & verification
current Steam buildSep 22, 2026
Confirmed default vert- behavior and viewmodel stretching via PCGamingWiki infobox. Confirmed the Engine.ini AspectRatioAxisConstraint community config-edit fix via multiple independent Steam Community threads. Could not confirm whether the fabricator/map menu issues are resolved by this same edit, so overall_status kept at partial rather than good.
