Overview
Saints Row (2022) natively renders gameplay hor+ up to 32:9 with a working FOV slider, but cutscenes and menus are pillarboxed to 16:9 with black bars out of the box. A community hex-edit fix (Black Bar Remover) removes those black bars, though it has a known side effect of zooming in pre-rendered cutscenes.

Patch history & verification
Patch Hub 2023-01-14 referenceSep 23, 2026
Verified via PCGamingWiki infobox (ultrawidescreen=true up to 32:9, cutscenes pillarboxed) and cross-checked the community Black Bar Remover fix thread. Could not confirm a more recent official patch beyond the 2023-01-14 Patch Hub note cited by PCGamingWiki, so the patch label is conservative.
