Overview

21:9 works out of the box with hor+ gameplay scaling, but cutscenes are vert- (cropped/pillarboxed relative to gameplay) per PCGamingWiki's side-by-side screenshot comparison. There is no Flawless Widescreen module for this game; 32:9 requires manually editing GameUserSettings.ini plus using the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Console Unlocker to fix FOV, which is a real but fiddly community workaround, not a one-click fix.

Already have one of these? It works too
Engine.ini AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOVIncreases FOV by locking to vertical FOV instead of horizontal; resets are not an issue since it's a persistent config edit, but combined with the resolution edit above for 32:9.

Patch history & verification

Current Steam buildSep 23, 2026
Verified via PCGamingWiki wikitext: ultrawidescreen=limited with documented hor+/vert- split at 21:9 (screenshot-based test cited), and a manual config+console-unlocker fix for 32:9 workaround. No FWS module found in the Flawless Widescreen repo for Visage, so flawless_widescreen_status is not-supported. Lower confidence on exact FOV values since PCGamingWiki lists the workaround as manual/'any other value possible' rather than a single verified number.
