Overview

Ubisoft's pre-release PC feature announcement (covered by Neowin) explicitly lists ultrawide monitor support alongside HDR and ray tracing as a PC feature for Anno 117, and Anno strategy UI is normally edge-docked toolbars/minimap rather than a centered HUD element. However, PCGamingWiki's own infobox currently marks the ultrawidescreen field as 'unknown' (undocumented/untested by their editors), and we could not find a Steam Community thread or hands-on ultrawide review confirming real 21:9 or 32:9 in-game camera behavior, so both are rated 'partial' pending better evidence rather than assumed flawless.

Fixes

No known fix yet.

Ubisoft's own marketing and options menu reportedly list ultrawide monitor support as a PC feature, but PCGamingWiki has not yet documented/tested it (field left 'unknown' on the wiki) and we could not find an independent Steam Community or press confirmation of real 21:9/32:9 behavior, so this is rated conservatively rather than as fully native.

Patch history & verification

Launch-era Steam buildSep 22, 2026
Confirmed Ubisoft's own pre-release marketing claim of ultrawide monitor support via a Neowin PC-features report, but could not corroborate real-world 21:9/32:9 camera/HUD/cutscene behavior via PCGamingWiki (marked unknown) or Steam Community, so support fields, cutscene framing, and overall status were all set conservatively as 'could not fully confirm'.
