Overview

Slay the Spire does not support ultrawide resolutions: PCGamingWiki explicitly lists ultrawidescreen as false and notes that ultrawide resolutions are pillarboxed. Multiple long-running Steam Community and WSGF forum threads (dating back to 2017-2019) confirm the game locks to 16:9/16:10 and offers no in-game fix. No maintained mod, Flawless Widescreen module, or config-file workaround was found, so this stays unsupported on both 21:9 and 32:9.

Fixes

No known fix yet.

The game only exposes 16:9/16:10 resolutions in its options menu and reverts to 16:9 if a wider resolution is forced; no maintained mod or config fix for true 21:9/32:9 play was found.

Patch history & verification

current live buildSep 22, 2026
Confirmed via PCGamingWiki (ultrawidescreen=false, pillarboxed note) and cross-checked with Steam Community and WSGF forum discussions; no fix exists in the Flawless Widescreen repo. Could not confirm any working community patch, so recommended_fix left null and fix_panel_note added per the no-fix consistency rule.
