Overview

Slay the Spire 2 lists widescreen and ultrawide resolution support on PCGamingWiki, and menus render properly widescreen, but a Steam Community thread from March 2026 (confirmed by multiple players, no dev fix yet as of this check) reports that the combat background does not fully fill the right side of the screen at 3440x1440, leaving a visible gap during battles. Because that in-battle rendering issue is unresolved, this is rated 'partial' rather than fully native until Mega Crit patches it; no known workaround exists.

Fixes

No known fix yet.

No mod or config fix exists; the combat-background fill gap is a rendering bug players are asking Mega Crit to patch, not something a widescreen tool can correct.

Patch history & verification

Live buildSep 22, 2026
Confirmed general ultrawide resolution support via PCGamingWiki and confirmed an unresolved combat-background fill bug at 21:9 via an active Steam Community thread with multiple corroborating reports and no developer response yet. Could not confirm exact current patch number, so left descriptive.
