Overview

Dead by Daylight renders ultrawide either Vert- (cropped top/bottom) or letterboxed to 16:9, your choice. Since patch 7.5.0 Killers can raise FOV to 103 degrees to compensate, but Survivor FOV is fixed. It uses Easy Anti-Cheat, so do not use injection mods.

Fixes

No known fix yet.

Online game protected by Easy Anti-Cheat; players must choose between a Vert- ultrawide image or 16:9 letterboxing, and injection fixes are unsafe.

Patch history & verification

7.5.0 and laterSep 28, 2026
Verified via PCGamingWiki (WSGF award: limited): Vert- or 16:9 letterbox option; Killer FOV slider added in 7.5.0 (BHVR patch notes cited by PCGW, not opened by me). Menu/HUD placement not separately documented (conservative values). No FWS module.
