Overview
Killing Floor 3 is vert- by default and its in-game resolution list caps out at 2560x1440, so both 21:9 and 32:9 require manually editing GameUserSettings.ini to force a wider resolution plus enabling the 'FOV Scaling Axis' option; done wrong this can produce a fisheye effect since that toggle expands FOV on both axes. Cutscenes and menus are conservatively assumed pillarboxed/16:9 since no source confirms otherwise, and this remains an acknowledged, unresolved gap per ongoing Steam Community threads.

Patch history & verification
Post-launch buildSep 22, 2026
Confirmed via PCGamingWiki that the game is vert- with a max in-game-selectable resolution of 2560x1440, and confirmed via active Steam Community threads that the ini-edit + FOV Scaling Axis workaround is the current community-standard fix for 21:9/32:9. Could not confirm exact cutscene/menu framing from any source, so those fields are set conservatively.
