Overview

Songs of Conquest supports ultrawide resolutions at the overworld map and menu level (PCGamingWiki explicitly notes '21:9 supported'), but Steam Community bug reports consistently describe the tactical battle screen zooming in and cropping off the bottom one to one-and-a-half rows of the battlefield at both 21:9 and 32:9. There is no official fix and no known workaround beyond adjusting camera zoom manually, so ultrawide is usable for the strategic map but flawed in combat.

Fixes

No known fix yet.

Multiple Steam Community reports describe the tactical battle screen zooming in at ultrawide resolutions and clipping the bottom 1-1.5 rows of the battlefield at both 21:9 and 32:9; no mod or config fix for this was found, and it appears to be an engine/camera limitation.

Patch history & verification

Hotfix 1.9.2Sep 22, 2026
Confirmed general ultrawide support via PCGamingWiki wikitext and confirmed the battle-screen bottom-row clipping issue via two separate Steam Community bug-report threads. Could not confirm whether the clipping issue has been fixed in the 1.9.x patch line, since no patch notes explicitly mentioning ultrawide/battle-camera fixes were found, so the partial rating is kept conservatively.
