Overview

By default the game renders 16:9 with black bars on ultrawide screens. Kaldaien's TBFix (Special K) or a WSGF hex edit removes the bars in gameplay with Hor+ scaling, and WSGF lists the HUD as optimized. Cutscenes and FMVs stay 16:9, and the fix has not been updated since 2017.

TBFix tbfix_0102Sep 23, 2026
This is the ORIGINAL appid 429660, not the Remastered listing. PCGamingWiki marks ultrawide 'hackable' via TBFix. WSGF (Hack method, Hor+, HUD optimized, cutscenes static aspect) gives the hex edit. Latest TBF GitHub release is tbfix_0102 (2017-03-02). The fix's compatibility with the current Steam build is lower-confidence.
