Overview
The Fallout 3 launcher does not list ultrawide resolutions, but setting iSize W/H in FalloutPrefs.ini works. Gameplay is Hor+ and the HUD and menus are not stretched. The default FOV is narrow, so an FOV tweak in the ini is recommended. The game is single-player, so ini edits are safe.

Patch history & verification
1.7.0.4Sep 23, 2026
Verified via the PCGamingWiki ultra-widescreen fix (iSize W/H in FalloutPrefs.ini: Hor+, no menu or HUD stretch) and the WSGF Silver-rated page. The menu layout (listed as 16:9) and HUD position are lower confidence and were not verified with screenshots. No Flawless Widescreen module was found.
